His original name was M Riceman, before he had a double period of keyboard skills, and got Maxi or somebody to fix it!!!!
Watched most of the game on Saturday Marc, was a good game up to where I saw dunno what happened late on, but I've heard that Steed got stronger, as opposed to you getting weaker!
From what I saw the frames that were lost were just both players running out of position, that's the thing with superfast tables, you need to use the cushions as little as possible.
Sometimes you just get beat by somebody playing better mate.
Pool's crazy Marc, that's why we all go crazy for it.
Money matches are even crazier, that's why we must all be bonkers to even want to play them!!
Good luck in the re-match if it happens to both of you anyway.

Thanks mate, like i said . . . I'm not going to get worked up about losing, it;s just a game of pool at the end of the day . . . Sometimes the best player wins, sometimes he doesn't . . But at the startlike you said, we ran outta position alot . . Cushions were crazily unpredictable and we started under-hittin shots in anticipation of a springy bounce but just left us in the middle of nowhere a few times . . .

Thanks though, hopefully will be a re-match . . . Will make for better viewing the next time, I can guarantee that at least Smile

You don't win by being the better player in general, you win by being the better player in the match. After which result or results, you then know who is the better player in general.

What happens if you play somebody in a 1 framer, break and dish, only to go in-off the black! Surely you've still played better than a guy who's not had a shot, although still damned unfortunate to go in-off!
Theoretically, you've played more good shots than your opponent, thus making you the losing better player!!
Magnify this by any amount of frames and you can actually have a better playing loser!!!! (in my opinion)

The guy who won played no bad shots (he won the lag and gave the break away). Magnify away.

To make matters worse it was for a drink and he took a magners!

That doesn't make him a better player, it makes him less worserererer!
He didn't give the break away after winning the lag either, it ws winner stays on and my guy was playing like a God all night till that unfortunate in-aff (if only he had screwed his tip a wee bit tighter)
And he was a plasterer just finished work, so he was possibly the best "overall" player!!!!!!!
hilarious
