Naww wee man what I said to santa was I would play him on that table, the one that had the new cushions, the same time I said that I would play Jayson on my table to Paul, it's alright saying these things to people like Santa and Paul but clearly you don't know what a real challege is, let me tell you how it goes, someone walks up to you and says that he will play you for a certain amount of money, no jokes, no laughs, they works out the number of frames a certain time to play and of course how much for.
I never challeged Mark, Goobsy lots of times but then again it was all in fun, get it.

What a lot of p*sh!!

If Santa or Paul had said ok lets get it on then it would have been deemed as a challenge. Just because they said no doesn't mean it wasn't a challenge.

Should be a long game, didn't know you were allowed to play money matches at world rules if your a blackball player.

Its pretty pathetic/sad/stupid/tedious that anyone needs to worry about this to be honest...

What you crying about? just stating a fact that I didn't know as it's an 'organised event' !

Steed again you just don't get it do you, I have been playing the game for nearly 40 years, when I was at the top of my game a long time ago, I never challeged anyone, so why would, when my nowhere near the player I was want to challenge anyone now.
The things that were said to Santa and Paul were to make a statement on the size of the pockets, santa thought that wiith Mark being such a great potter the tighter the pockets the better but Ipointed out that with tight pockets the best tactial player would win, that's all.

Ross your just as good now as you ever were, it's just a case of the players being of a much higher standard nowadays.

Cant see past Ross at BB Rules.

Not sure about WR but i spose Ross will be well prepared.

As for the first weesteed game, I hadnt seen chris before but thought he carried a fair bit of rub through most of the match (Didnt put a foot wrong last 4 frames though) against a below par wee steed. Cant comment on the second match as i wasnt there.

If Chris thinks Ross is going to burst the balls all over the table for him the way weesteed will, then a rude awakening is in store.

Should be interesting though. Away to Spain on the 12th - would have been nice to go across to watch **some** of it.

Saw Mark Armstrong beat Chris 10-5 not so long ago for a few hundred quid and Chris was average, Ross is exceptional and i will go with Ross to win comftorbly at both sets of rules.Smile
