  Charity Fundraising - Pat Holtz
by: Pat Holtz, 13-01-2012 12:43 PM (#21)

The following venues have confirmed exhibitions:

Friday 27th January (8-11pm) - Bridges Bar, 1 Jerviston St, New Stevenston, Motherwell, Lanarkshire ML1 4LY

Saturday 4th February (1-6pm) - Red Triangle, 4 St. Mungos Walk, Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire G67 1QP

Sunday 5th February (1-5pm) - The Wellington Inn, 50 Main Road, Crookedholm, Kilmarnock KA3 6JU

Sunday 26th February (TBC) - Perth, venue TBC

Sunday 18th March (1-5pm) - The Stewarton Arms, 6 Avenue Square, Stewarton, Kilmarnock KA3 5AB

Sunday 6th May (5-10pm) Royal British Legion, 1 Academy Street, Forfar DD8 2HA

Sunday 9th September (1-6pm) - Hustlers, 118 Queensferry Rd, Rosyth, Dunfermline, KY11 2QZ

Had contact from the following leagues, just to confirm dates/venues:
* Aberdeen (x2)
* Ayr
* Arbroath
* Berwick
* East Kilbride
* Isle of Bute
* Livingston (Sep/Oct)
* Monklands
* Motherwell (Apr)

Would like to do as many as possible throughout the year, so if any league is not listed above, could someone mention it at their league meeting to drum up interest?

I could do one in Inverness the day before the IM to save on travel. Gavin/Iain - is this something you could help set up locally?

Anyone from Glasgow or Edinburgh able to set something up?

So far I've raised 953.75 including gift aid.

Cheers,
Pat

A big thanks to George Fagan who is taking it upon himself to run a Super 11's event and raise vital cash for both of these charities.

Well done, super effort! clap clap clap

Had a great night at Bridges Bar and many thanks to those who turned up and played/supported the event.

We managed to raise a whooping 597 towards both charities, so well done to everyone for their fantastic efforts! When the Gift Aid is added on, it makes a final total raised of 716.40!

A very big thanks to Steve Gormley for organising the event and the owner Joe McPartland for hosting it. clap clap clap

I look forward to returning later in the year! Smile

Many thanks to everyone who have organised an event and to all the generous players who have kindly donated. clap

All dontations from each venue can be found on my Just Giving pages in my signature below.

The next event will be Friday 27th April at the Old Mill Snooker Club, Dundee.

Hope to see some of you there!
