Im sure you will get a few offers - Tom is a fantastic talent and a lovely young man. Off the top of my head I would love to see him playing any of the players below:-

- Jayson
- Goobs
- Holtz
- Boyle
- Bossman
- McInnes

Im sure there are many more though.

GOOBS has fluctuated with JASON for the no 1 in scotland for the last 2 years.
Bossman 2009 world champion
BOYLE one of the highest rated players in scotland
Mcinnes still a force at his age and too many titles too mention although not sure if he would be able to win final frame 1st to 25 if it went to a decider without cheatin lol
Holtz one of the finest pool players scotland has ever produced.

How many times must you be told Barry, Bossman was European Masters Champion 2009, not World Champion.

I'm not disagreeing with you but anyone other than Jayson would be slight if not more 'second favourite' for the match.

If anyone thought they would be favourite they would be jumping at the chance to play Tom.

I don't think Ross would get close to Tom on a race to 25 however.

Anyone agree in principal??lol

If I had to lump my entire life savings (all 4.39) on any player to beat Tom, I'd probably lump it all on Holtz. I just think he has a more rounded, consistent game than Jayson.

For flair and shotmaking, nobody come close to Shaw, but when it goes wrong, it can go wrong badly.

I disagree George.

When things went against Pat in the 500 a man event (which Jayson beat Tom twice) he took the pure huff!!!

Jayson is still improving even now and I think if you needed one man on your side it would defo be him!

Out that lot, I would back Goobsy and Holtz - in that order.

Jayson is a phenominal talent, but having watched him twice, I just don't think he's a money player. His style is more suited to tournament play.

Ross is done at that level.

Bossman seemed to let the cash get to him when playing Boyle twice, and although he's different class - I wouldn't back him here. Maybe he wants it too much?

Boyle is an outside shout - but I don't see him being able to do anything that Tom can't, but I cannot see the same being said the other way about.

Don't be kidded - we're talking about the very top of our game here, so I mean absolutely no disrespect to any of the player involved. I'm just saying who I'd put my money on in a match.

I've went with Goobsy first as he's the form player (despite Pat winning Inverness) over the last few years. Holtz playing all the time, and hungry is probably still the best all round player in Scotland right now.

Maybe these guys that are mentioned would probably wait till they are actually challenged,if they took up every money match that their names were mentioned they wouldn`t have enough minutes in the day to play them all.
