  david rooney v josh brannan
by: the cue78, 06-05-2013 01:46 PM (#1)

after a lot of idle threats and vile insults from BOTH ends of the great divide on marc flemings facebook status about last weekends antics the roondog issued out a number of challenges to both flemings, ryan tenbruck and josh brannen and josh wants to play him for 3k minimum,

the roondog is waiting on josh giving him a date and venue for this match to go ahead,
should be a cracker with all thats been said.

pished again!!

Josh is a great player. Be very close. But josh would practice hard for this and I wouldn't want to call it.

I'd also be very surprised if josh had agreed to this match and didn't play. He'd be good for it IMO.

Exactly - Rooney is now a bottler IMO.

I'd go the other way, with experience favourig josh.. Back when he was 18/19 at both 8ball and 9ball he done very well up here and down south, I'm sure guys like ross bossman or Jayson will remember, didnt he win a major British event? Or come close to it.. I'm sure he just lost out the round before the TV in the 9ball worlds in Cardiff aswell? .....(these are all his 'when I was your age' stories he's been giving me for years)

Josh doesn't miss when hes under pressure!! difference is hes not that interested in playing pool anymore but if he had enough notice for this and put the hours in i think he doesn't make enough mistakes for Rooney to win!! wouldn't be that good to watch cause personally think they're both pretty boring
