George, had to leave meeting early, draw getting done later but I can inform you when your team will be playing as no matter what group you are in, you are one of the teams that have a lot to travel and your group will play at 9 or 10 pm, if 10 pm you will have two match's that night.

Great work Bash and Ross.

Apologies if I have missed this, but is the Carlsberg Challenge still going ahead with one player from each team?

No the Calsberg challenge cannot go ahead due to the time frame for this event.

We are starting at 7 pm Friday night finish around 1pm next morning, starting again 9 am Saturday morning and again finishing around midnight that day but that again will all depend on the match's going to time, one hour for each match?

Well the way the draw has came out , lots of teams that have far to travel have not been drawn against each other, so I am going to try and work out who has the most to travel and go by that.

These are the times for ALL the match's over Friday/Saturday.

Groups 1/2 7 pm Friday.
Groups 4/8 8 pm Friday.
Groups 3/6 9 pm Friday.
Groups 5/7 10 and 11 pm Friday. [two match's]

Saturday.

Groups 1/2 9/11 am 2 match's
Groups 4/8 11/1 pm 2 match's
Groups 3/6 1/3 pm 2 match's
Groups 5/7 3/6 pm 3 match's
Groups 1/2 6/8 pm 2 match's
Groups 4/8 8/10 pm 2 match's
Groups 3/6 10/finish 2 match's

George sorry I had to put your team on starting at 8 pm as there were 4 other sections with teams that had further travel than Aberdeen, which goes to show you that this event has teams coming from all parts of Scotland.

As you will see it is a very busy schedule for the first two days but even after that the knockout stages, frame match's will increase to best of 11 frames for the last 32 and last 16 match's, best of 15 quarters and semi's and final. So again it will be a long day on Sunday for the lucky ones left in the comp.

Any questions just post on here, I hope I have not missed any team that far to travel but in case I have please inform me on here asap.

There will be no captains meetings, all captains will be handed a leaflet which will have all the information they require.

This event has always been about having fun and I want to again try my very best and not shout at everyone, it will not be as strict as the Supers regards walking across the playing area etc but players have to try and make sure they give respect to others playing their match's , look after the caravans and keep the noise level down t night while in the caravans.

NO DRESS CODE. fun event.

Look forward to seeing everyone there, there will be live streaming done by John, so your mates can watch you play, we will try and give every team a chance at least once on the tv table.

New top table as Yvonne cannot make this event and that will be done by Michaela Tabb and myself along with help from others.

Format is groups of 6 best of 9 frames but stop as soon as a team gets to 5. ie; 5 nil.

Top 4 teams from each group go through to knockout stages, where the winners from each group will play the team that finish's fourth from another group.

The winners will be back on at 10.30 Sunday, their reward for winning the group, where as the teams that finish second and third will start at 9 am Sunday and again the teams that finish second and third will play against others from another group.

2 points for a win, then frames for, then if tied, result against one another.

Michael has once again did a lot of work in fixing the computer, so that results can just be posted in and it does all the work but we will not know the full draw until the last result comes in late Saturday night and the knockout draw can then be done.
