As my first time as county captain of Coatbridge B in 3rd division play-offs .won every match up until Cumbernauld beat us in semi final. My point is they had around 8 players that played in premier event with Cumbernauld A team who also are international level, then have a look to see how many Of The Cumbernauld B team that got relegated in 2017 played in play-offs?? How can the S.P.A TURN A BLIND EYE TO THIS????????

I thought you beat Cumbernauld earlier in the competition, so would this have been a problem if you beat them again?
donít think thatís the point!

The players might not have been able to make the A event, so played in the B event to not miss out on playing in the Super 11s.

They now can only play for B and cannot swap back to the A team until the Super 15s. Cannot see why they would intentionally want to weaken their A team who will be playing at the Premier event to be honest?

Also, Edinburgh F had chances to beat them in the final, it wasn't like they were horsing teams 6-0 every game due to them having superstar players.

Hard lines though on your first attempt to qualify, sound like you are almost there and good luck next year!

Iv said for years the qualifiers are actually harder to win than the 3rd Division but it's getting very noticeable this can't make event excuse is coming to the fore . For me it's a loophole for counties to try and get more teams into the divisions . As long as an A team is better than a B etc so instead of having top 12 players in A you can take 7 and 5 B stay in division then have 5 A team 7 B team in other team to hose up the lower division .

Yes Stevie we had 2 players from last years A team,no disrespect to either player but the reason they dropped out of A team was because they didn't have a good enough event to merit place this time.Anyone who knows our A team captain will tell you that under no circumstances would he even consider weakening his side just To Help B team, rightly so in my opinion.
Your always going to get a couple of players going to A team to B team or other way around, but when you suddenly have practically full team of premier division player's in 3rd division play-offs is why I've asked the question.

i think there was 5 players that have in the past played for Cumbernauld A team none of which played for the A team last year 2 of which have played at international level but none are available for the A event this year and 1 of your 2 A players has also played at international level so unless any of the players try to play for the A team this year i dont see what the problem is but we are talking c/nauld/ coatbridge here not quite the cream of scottish pool
