This is interesting!!!!!!!!!!

Please see below, from March 2016.

This was the thread about Pro Cup Balls, and how we HAD TO change, to fall in line with the EBA, and how, at the end of the day, through the SPA AND ROSS'S COMPANY, no way would the SPA Players be disadvantaged!!!!

All I can say is....OOOAFT!!!!!!!

How much are you and the SPA gonny have to spend on recovering all of these tables, but, hey-ho, as long as it doesn't leave Scottish Pool at a disadvantage, I suppose you can't put a price on things like this!!!!!!

The SPA are not asking pubs/clubs throughout the country to buy these sets of pro balls, the SPA and my company will buy them for SPA events as they will be used at EBA events from now on and our players should not be at a disadvantage with the other member countries.

OK you lot, let me try an explain to you all why we are not following the EBA when it comes to cloth and why we did when it came to the spotted white balls and the new pro sets of balls.

Perhaps if you think about what I am going to say it may help you lot.

Firstly the reason I said to Graham he cannot quote the EBA to me regarding a 3 year contract with the cloth is simple, the EBA also have a contract with optima pool tables, that they must use at their events.

Are you saying that the SPA should buy and only use Optima tables as well and as such inform all clubs that we cannot use their tables unless they are Optimas?

You see we can and did buy spotted whites firstly and then the pro balls because we can take them to each and every club we use BUT we cannot buy and take blue 861 cloth with us to each and every club we use, just as we cannot buy and take Optima tables to each and every club we use.

That is why I said to Graham he cannot use the EBA contract with the cloth, as we do not do the same as the EBA when it comes to the tables they use.

Ross

A quick question.

Those who pulled out of the event this weekend but can make the "NEW" (if there is one) would they be eligible to play?

Thanks

100% they can,if they werenít allowed, then I would imagine no one will ever say in advance that they canít make an event again

Itís just unfortunate what has happened

As Scott has said, people may have puled out because of all sorts of reasons, however they now may be able to make the new date, if that is what is decided by the Exec and of course there will be players whio , if we go with a new date, cannot make this one and for that I can only apologise to them but the weather was to bad to risk any ones life trying to travel and back from the venues.

Honestly some of you boys should get a life.

Yes the Ballroom Meadowbank do have different cloths on their tables, have any of you asked how many tables they have?

Have any of you asked how many tables we are using?

So I can't even ask what cloth is on the tables now and I have to get life. I nice one.
Ross Weeksy is renowned for his moaning don't worry about it , Ross how many tables does Meadowbank have ? Will the players all be playing on the same cloth ? That's how easy it was to ask Weeksy

Can someone confirm, with the new date, does Weeksy still have to get a life?
