I wasn't aware of this, if this is the case then the matches versus Ayr & District B will become a bye.

There is one qualifier from each venue.

Playoff Format
Two venues, 12 teams at each venue. One qualifier from each venue.

Each venue
Two groups of 6. Teams play each other once in a round robin format to qualify for Knockout Stage.

Knockout Stage
Round 1
1st Group 1 v 4th Group 2
2nd Group 1 v 3rd Group 2
1st Group 2 v 4th Group 1
2nd Group 2 v 3rd Group 1

Round 2
Winners of above matches drawn randomly.

Round 3 (Qualifier)
Winners of Round 2 matches play each other to qualify.

As east ayrshire B are due to play ayr and district B in first game at the qualifiers. Does our team still have to turn up for 10am of that scheduled match or turn up for time of our second match

The team does not have to turn up at 10am, please note they can now turn up for their second match. I'd suggest being there perhaps 20-30 mins in advance of the scheduled timing though so the TD can talk to the Captain etc before they start.

What's happening with these times? Group 1 on at 9am both saturday and sunday??? Surely that's a mistake? I understand it must be hard to create a schedule that keeps everyone happy but that seems obvious!

Son we changed the format years ago because the players only wanted one thing and that was team match's, so we set out having these groups, of 8 at the 15s and 6 at the 11s.

Because of this there is no other times we can put on, we have looked at changing them so many times its untrue but one group has to play late, so they get on late the next day, yes we could then change things around that the ones coming early miss out the middle and finish late but that to cuaes problems with to much time not playing and drinking to much during the day.

So we can change the format to give less match's but again as I said the teams/leagues want as many match's as they can get in the time allowed.

It comes down to this kid, one group will not have great times and not get out to party etc, yes they get long sleeps but that is not what you want is it son.

So to be very honest here, tell your captain you don't like your times and have changed your mind on playing, that way you can come watch , go out partying sleep all day after and still see some pool, other than that ask your captain/league to put through a proposal to change the format that the leagues wanted and give us less match's.

I'm sure the SPA staff would back you with this as it would stop them being there at 8.30 am until 1 am the next morning, you see they don't have any chance at all in getting out.

Ross the times have changed from last year but? Have a look. Why is there a group playing late both nights and a group playing at 9 both mornings? Where is the sense in That?

More areas than Sarrys had haircuts.
