In the past the mobile web has been relatively unused because sites were frequently hard to locate and more often than not had little useful content when you did find them.... plus web pages could be slow and costly to download.  The good news is that in the future it looks as if much more use will be made of the mobile internet.

We have secured several domains which will display pool news, contacts and other information on mobile phones.

To visit SPA sites on your mobile phone, load and bookmark scottishpool.mobi where you'll find an index of web pages. Just follow the links. Some older WAP phones may not be able to download these sites but the majority of mobiles should be able to cope.

It's still at an early stage but a number of SPA mobile pages have already been added. These include Individual Membership event dates, contacts, rankings, honours and live scores. Also available on mobile-SPA pages are Scottish League tables, World Championship results, complete blackball rules and links to other mobile-ready 8ball pool sites.We've created a simulator for this site. are updated locally by the Scottish Pool Association's affiliated Leagues.

Although these tables are intended for mobiles it's possible to browse through the pages on your PC.

browsers.

Although these profiles are intended for mobiles it's possible to browse through the pages on

To avoid confusion it's a good idea to use all lower case letters for your user name.
